Meet Michal
Founder and Executive Director
Great to have you here!
I'm Michal — a Sabra, bridge-builder, and passionate architect of connection between Israel and the global Jewish world, and between Jews and Christians.
My work lives at the intersection of Jewish identity, Israel engagement, and cross-community partnership. I design meaningful experiences that strengthen the ties between Diaspora Jews, their allies and Israel — weaving together people, organizations, businesses, and ideas into vibrant networks that span continents.
At the heart of my work is what I call the "echo of our sacred story." I bring Jewish history and foundational texts into conversation with modern Hebrew, Israeli culture, poetry, music, television, and even street art — creating spaces where ancient wisdom meets contemporary reality. My Israeli Hungarian heritage comes to life in far more than just my cooking…
With a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Jewish Professional Studies from Gratz College — along with a Graduate Certificate in Hebrew Language Instruction — I bring both strategic clarity and pedagogic depth to my work. My academic research ignited a deep interest in language acquisition and the productive role of error in learning, a perspective that continues to shape my teaching today.
In 2025, I was honored to be named one of Hadassah's 18 Zionist Women You Should Know.
Above all, I create spaces where participation is active, ideas are challenged, and connection is alive.
When I'm not building bridges across communities, you'll likely find me cooking with my three children — Aviv, Ohad, and Amit — and gathering loved ones around our table.
I look forward to connecting with you.
